How Does Invisalign® Work?
After discussing your goals and concerns about your teeth, Dr. Kooner will create a treatment plan that is custom for you and a set of Invisalign® aligners will be ordered.
Each set of aligners are to be worn for a minimum of 20 – 22 hours a day for approximately 2 weeks. The aligners are only to be removed while eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. Each aligner in the series will move your teeth gradually towards your ideal goal until the final position for the teeth is achieved. Every 6-7 weeks you will visit Dr. Kooner to have your teeth examined and a new set of aligners will be provided. The length of treatment and the number of aligners varies for each person and it depends on the severity of your case. Typical cases usually take one year to complete.
